Dairy Dilemma
Dr. Michael A. Klaper said it best, "We don't need milk from a cow any more than we need milk from a giraffe or a mouse". After all, the biological purpose and nutritional makeup of cow's milk is to give the required nourishment for baby cows - nothing more. Would we give milk for a human baby to a chimpanzee? Perhaps the answer is as clear as the statistics - over 65% of the global population is lactose intolerant, while evidence shows that people really only develop a tolerance for dairy because they were exposed to it at an early age and their bodies adapted. Though suppressed by the agendas of mainstream food industries, evidence has actually existed for decades showing that milk does not strengthen human bones at all - it in fact weakens them, among other undesired health defects [1] [2] [3] [4]. Overwhelming correlations show that milk drinkers are exponentially more likely to suffer from Osteoporosis when compared to those who don't drink it: furthermore, countries with the highest dairy consumption happen to have the highest rates of Osteoporosis [1] [2]. Additionally, the #1 source of saturated fat is dairy.
> Dairy is linked to many different types of cancer, including but not limited to prostate, colon, and breast cancer [1] [2] [3] [4]. Why would the largest and top-funded breast cancer organization in the U.S. (Susan G. Komen) endorse and highly recommend dairy products (such as Yoplait Yogurt) when they are in fact proven to cause breast cancer itself? Perhaps the answer lies in the fact that companies like Yoplait and even KFC directly fund Susan G Komen [1] [2] [3] ...As usual, following the money always manages to reveal the agenda. In reality, there are absolutely no nutrients exclusive to milk/dairy that cannot be obtained from dozens of significantly more nutritious plants, which in turn avoid the many harmful elements of dairy.
> From an ethics standpoint, almost nobody realizes that cows have to be impregnated and give birth in order to produce milk, just like humans. Countless factories of cows are hooked up to machines and repeatedly inseminated, followed by their babies being taken from them within 24-48 hours of birth, traumatizing the mother. This process is repeated for the lifespan of female cows until they die premature deaths from the stress, abuse, and lack of a normal life - all to poison us through the temptations of cheese. Without hardly stepping foot into the overall environmental impacts, most of the world's GMO crops are consumed by livestock - with dairy cows consuming the most per animal [1] [2].
